Introducing ReelWorship

ReelWorship.com is a site created by the team behind FreeFoto.com. The site is dedicated to providing multimedia content and resources for use in the work of the Christian community.

The worship backgrounds, by FreeFoto.com principal photographer Ian Britton, are designed to have words laid over the top of them and have all been tested during real worship services.

As active members of churches ourselves we wish to share our experiences and resources with others who are interested in ministering in this area.

We believe that people crave an experience of God and the creative us of multimedia can help to communicate what is a reality in our own lives.

The Shepherd's Tale (An imaginary testimony for Christmas Morning).

A shepherd reminisces about that night 34 years ago when he sat on the hill overlooking Bethlehem - and a life-changing encounter!

I was asked to come up with a story for the Christmas morning service last year, and this was the result. I appeared from the back of the church dressed as a shepherd...

Quarter of adults do not know where Jesus was born

Only 12% of adults in have a detailed knowledge of the Christmas story, according to new research published today by Theos, the public theology think tank.

The findings reveal that when it comes to the classic elements of the story, such as the appearance of an angel to Mary or where Jesus was born, the vast majority of people, 73% in each case, know the story.

However, that number falls considerably when people are asked slightly more difficult questions. 48% of people…

Worship Backgrounds

One of our philosophies here at ReelWorship is everything should be produced with the end use in mind. So when we produce an image for use in worship we are thinking about...

(1) Where will the words go ?
(2) Does it add or distract from the message ?
(3) Will the words be clear against the background ?

Then not only do we think about the end use we also use them in a real worship service.

That allows use to see the image projected and take on board any feedback f…
